What Peak News is, and is not

Peak News reads public Telegram channels you pick and turns them into one briefing. It summarises what those channels said — nothing more. Figures are as claimed by those channels and are not independently verified.

It is not a news organisation, and a briefing is not financial, legal or safety advice. Every line links back to the original message. Check anything you plan to act on against that.

Channels can go private or disappear, and Telegram can change how it works. A briefing that comes back thin for that reason is not a fault.

Your account

There is no password. Signing in means clicking a link sent to your email — so whoever can read your inbox can get into your account. Keep it secure. Links work once and expire after 15 minutes, and you stay signed in for 7 days.

What you may not do

Add public channels only. Do not use Peak News for anything unlawful, do not point scripts at it, do not share your account, and do not republish briefings wholesale as a product of your own. Sending a briefing to colleagues is fine; reselling them is not.

What it costs

The first 7 days are free — 3 channels, no card. After that you build your own plan: how many channels you need, and whether you want to share briefings. You pay monthly, in euros, VAT included. Outside the eurozone the same amount may be shown in your own currency.

Stripe takes the payment and your card details never reach Peak News. The price you agree stays yours for as long as you keep that plan, even if list prices change later. Change your plan mid-month and nothing is charged at that moment — the difference lands on the next invoice.

Cancelling, and getting money back

Cancel whenever you like. Your plan keeps working until the end of the month you have already paid for, then stops and does not renew. A month that has started is not refunded.

One exception, in your favour: within 14 days of first paying, you may change your mind. Write to info@peaknews.io. You pay only for the days you had, and the rest comes back.

Sharing a briefing

If your plan includes sharing, you can turn a briefing into a link anyone can open — no account needed. Share only what you are content to make public, including whatever third parties wrote in it. You can switch the link off again, but you cannot recall a copy someone has already taken.

What Peak News is not answerable for

Do not rely on a briefing for anything that matters without checking the source. What you decide after reading one is yours to decide, and Peak News is not liable for how it turns out. Liability is capped at what you paid over the past year. Nothing here takes away rights the law does not allow to be taken away.

Ending your account

Ask for your account to be closed whenever you want — write to info@peaknews.io. An account that breaks these terms can be suspended or closed. What happens to your data afterwards is in the privacy policy.

Which law applies

Dutch law. If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the EU you keep the protections of your own country, you can bring a case where you live, and you can only be taken to court there.
